Guandao Yang
I’m a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford, working with Prof. Leonidas Guibas and Prof. Gordon Wetzstein. I earned my PhD at Cornell Tech, advised by Prof. Serge Belongie and Prof. Bharath Hariharan. During my doctoral studies, I interned at various industry labs, including NVIDIA, Intel, and Google. Prior to my PhD, I received my Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.
My research aims to develop Spatial Intelligence capable of creating, editing, and analyzing geometries in both the virtual and physical worlds, utilizing advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and computer graphics.
Outside of academia, I like traditional rock climbing and playing classical piano.
I am currently on job market, seeking academic faculty positions and research scientist roles. Feel free to reach out if you know any opportunity that might fit me!
